The Prime System Layout

Layout of panels for the Prime system:

Place the absorbers and abfuser strips at 2½' from the floor. The absorbers go at the first reflection point. Leave a 6" gap and place the four abfuser strips behind that with 6" gaps between them. The absorbers and abfuser strips provide a mix of damping and scattering.

Find the first reflection point by using a mirror. Sit at the listening position and have an assistant move the mirror along the wall until you can see a speaker. The mirror indicates the first reflection point. It's that simple!

Place the third 2' x 3' wall absorber unit in the middle of the rear wall directly behind the listening position.

Place the two ceiling clouds at the first reflection points between the speakers and the listening position.

Place the two bass absorbers panels in the front corners at the same height as the wall panels. If corners aren't available, place the bass absorbers at the wall/ceiling junction.
